Tolani provides strategic support to our program development at CGSL. She is a passionate community and programs professional, climate activist, and youth development expert. Currently, she works at the intersection of communications, programs, and community. As a highly skilled community and programs professional, she designs and manages initiatives that empower communities and bridge the gap between passionate individuals and impactful actions. Through her social impact consulting work, she advises organisations on creating sustainable solutions to address social challenges.
Her profound commitment to climate advocacy and community building is evident in her leadership of numerous initiatives aimed at driving positive change. Tolani's work includes leveraging technology for social good, as demonstrated by her professional endeavours with organisations like Wennovation Hub, Opportunity Desk, and the World Economic Forum. Here, she effectively bridges the gap between innovation and meaningful impact.
Tolani is also the founder of Eco-Ed Connect, an organisation dedicated to climate education in schools and raising the next generation of environmental stewards. Under her leadership, Eco-Ed Connect has reached over 11,000 students and trained climate leaders in nine African countries, initiatives supported by the Global Changemakers Grant, among others. She also received an environmental change award at the Global Youth Awards in London, a 25 under 25 nomination from SME100 Africa and serves as a Global Youth Ambassador with TheirWorld and the World Summit Awards, furthering her mission to raise the next generation of environmental stewards.
She holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Structural Engineering from the University of Benin, Nigeria and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in International Management at the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, Morocco, focusing on frameworks for tackling Africa’s urgent development issues.
