MD Mahamodul Hasan

Research Intern

MD Mahamodul is an undergraduate law student at the University of Chittagong. His interests span constitutionagl, international, humanitarian, maritime, cyber, and intellectual property law.

Previously, he served as a Research Associate under Professor A.B.M. Abu Noman on an IOM- and YPSA-supported project to develop a victim-of-trafficking (VoT)–centered SOP for law enforcement, conducting stakeholder interviews with judges, police, and survivors. He leads as the Head of Research Wing of the Network for International Law Students (NILS)- Chittagong University Chapter and contributes to Legal Empowerment Bangladesh- LEB’s research team as a Research Associate.

Mahamodul has presented on protecting education in post-conflict societies at the RUEC 1st International Research Conference 2025. His advocacy and research have been recognized with the Best Memorial (Applicant) Award at the BUP National Moot Court Competition 2025, Champion at the 8th NILS Bangladesh Mooting School (2024), and Best Speaker at the NILS CU Public Speaking Competition (2024).

Combining rigorous legal research with public-interest engagement, he aims to advance rule of law solutions that align sustainability, rights protection, and institutional reform in Bangladesh and beyond.
